I definitely agree it's going in circles now. I enjoyed Jeremy getting a 'better' storyline, for him atleast. I would like to see them separate Elena from Stefan now, romantically at least and that isn't happening because of the 'sire' storyline.
I like Klaus I thought his comment to Caroline that giving Ty a head start is something he is doing for her. It was true to his character.
I still miss poor Alaric.

I wish Klaus were staying on the show, but I am looking forward to The Originals. I hope the Klaus/Caroline storyline is further explored now that Tyler is gone. I like Tyler but I much prefer Klaus  I miss Alaric too, and I hope Shane dies. April too. Annoying ass characters. I look forward to the return of Elijah. I don't think any of them will take the cure, otherwise how will they kill Silas? Mind you we don't actually know anything about him other than what Kol and Shane have said, and neither have accurate sources. It could be that he is not that bad at all, and he just had a very vengeful witch girlfriend  |

Putting in spoilers just because it aired a few hours ago I found this episode very sad. I enjoyed both Matt & Elena's reactions, I thought they were spot on!. I found it weird Damon hugged Bonnie, I understand why he went to look for her but the hug seemed out of the blue. I am annoyed that they took Elena's humanity away, it seems like another way for them to play the love triangle in our faces again and her having lost her morality means she can't be blamed either. I also felt badly for Jeremy, I liked the brother/sister relationship and I think they should have allowed Elena to break down and grieve her brother not take her humanity away.
I did like the moment between Stefan & Damon but again, with Elena's lost morality it didn't feel as deep. |

Yep I don't know why he didn't tell her it was going to be ok, or that he wanted he and jeremy want her to move on and be happy. Wouldn't that work too? This is a way to make her bad I guess.
I want to know what Katherine wants with the cure. I dont believe it will be used on anyone other than Silas - unless like Klaus they decide to make the 'big bad' stick around if he is loved by the audience. |

Matt got me. Twice. And Elena's breakdown was very sad I agree Nico  I actually like Damon's way of dealing with it. I'd like to see a more composed and hard ass Elena. I'm so sick of her shit that it was part of the reason I was going off the show. I'm back in so I'm keen to see where it goes now! |

They must be doing something right if they won you back then Loz! I am quite shocked they killed off Jeremy, I am assuming he is gone for good. VD seem to take alot of cues from the audience opinions so I think that is why Katherine came back, I would quite like to see vamp Elena & Katherine go at it. I know Katherine is stronger and older but still. From the promos next week she joins the cheerleading team again and eats the other teams, much to Carolines Dismay |

This show is now bordering on a chore to watch  It's about to go OUAT for me!! Let me say this about tonights ep... Caroline is a f**king idiot. Seriously, you knew what was at stake. Sacrifices need to be made! And can someone please explain to me why the makeup department makes her look so fricking horrid?? All the other vamps don't look washed out and gross. The Lexie shit was  She always annoyed me though. When Elena and Damon started going at it i did agree with her choice of going straight for the ass. Had to be ruined didn't it  |

Loved seeing Elijah again and getting a little more insight to Katherine. Loved the scenes with Caroline and Klaus. The rest... eh. I just don't care about vamp Elena atm. They should be focusing more on Silas imo. They keep saying 100 times "Elena doesn't have any emotions" like we will forget too which is bugging me.

Yeah vampire Elena is painful. It just comes across as try-hard And yet Katherine is a genuine, complex threat and played by the same actress. Its most strange..... I liked everything else about the ep though and its has been shitting me as i said ^^^^ Great to see Elijah. He always makes me smile. |

For once I am enjoying Bonnie's storyline. Usually her witchy powers just seem way too convenient. Elena's is still blergh but at least it looks to be wrapping up a bit. I wish Caroline and Klaus would hook up, he's going to his own show soon so it bugs me it may never happen  I love how he let Tyler go for 5 seconds so as not to ruin Caroline's night. I think he likes Tyler being gone but isn't that bothered about killing him. Why was April doing the announcing at the prom? Meh. I do like that she ignored Elena's threat though. Nice to see Matt again. Rebekah's storyline is getting a bit meh too. I was glad Matt wasn't nice to her, she doesn't deserve it at all. Klaus is right, she's bored and thinks the cure is a way to have a life where people like her. Instead of changing herself she wants that to do it for her. More Elijah. |

I don't count that episode as much of a Vampire diaries episode because it was a pilot for the originals spinoff but I enjoyed it. I don't see Vampire Diaries lasting to much longer with all of the Originals gone though.
Tonight's episode actually looked like they might be trying to conclude the story, Alaric/Damon is always great. I liked seeing Jeremy save Elena I miss him!. I liked seeing Lexie as well. It was a bit of a letdown all in all though.

Interesting way to do it though.... Its about time PW got some juicy stuff to work with. Agree with all other points. Damon and Elena made me smile even though i have hated her most of the season Will be interesting to see if the chemistry changes now that IS and ND have split up. Plec says they will be together and happy at the start of season 5. |

I was glad to finally see Klaus 'fess up without killing someone at the end. He is alot like Damon in that way, every time he let a wee bit of love in he did something crazy bad right after.
