Hmm I don't know. From what I've read of the show, it doesn't sound like it's going to be big, much less as big as X-Files. Honestly, I'm not all that excited about this show. Me neither, unfortunately. I'll give it a try. I'm hoping it will be good.

Yeah, I'll give it a try as well.
I wasn't so keen on Firefly when I first heard about it. But I loved it when I started watching it. So who knows. It might be the same for this one.

i'll probably watch it anyway. since I'm not a critic and watch shows purely on entertainment (and sometimes hotness factor) I'll watch just about anything, whether it rates well or not.

It hasn't been getting any publicity here, which is a little surprising if it's premiering in a month (which is what FOX's site says), though other networks advertise new and returning shows well in advance, which lends a bit of credibility to the idea that people think it won't do well. However, that my just be how FOX does things. I rarely watch that network nowadays. I'm interested in at least checking it out and letting the show speak for itself.

I'm surprise they are not promoting as much. From what I've read (and this was when we first heard that this show was picked up), they were saying FOX is going to do all kinds of promotion for the show. They did release promos pics and such months in advance. It's odd that they would slow down their promotion instead of giving more publicity.
Not a good sign. :-\

It's not getting a lot of buzz over here. I have yet to see an ad for it on FOX. I'm not too hopeful. EDIT: I just saw an ad for it. It doesn't look too bad and they're associating it with BtVS in the ad, so hopefully that will help.

So the show airs tomorrow in the U.S. Anyone still interested in watching it? I gotta admit, I'm not as excited about the show as I was before. Will watch it though!

If I'm not out, I'll watch it, but I'm not going to go out of my way to catch it.

Did anyone catch it? I've heard positive things from Joss fans.

Well, I watched it last night and the vid I was watching wasn't complete and some parts were missing. Quailty was bad too. So that kinds ruined my experience. Found another one and will be watching it again later.

The full episode is IMDb. I'll watch it one of these days. My mom watched it (a Joss fan) and didn't really care for it that much.

I watched it (since I was watching Terminator anyway) and I feel the same as Bres mum, I certainly wont be going out of my way to watch next weeks. The idea is interesting but it has been done, reminded me of Alias actually. It is clear how each episode will go, I actually preferred the 5 minutes of what happens in the Facility.
I'm wondering if its getting good reviews purely because it is a Joss Whedon creation, maybe it just isn't my cup of tea but one thing I have learned from a lot of my shows is that the pilot is usually weaker than a lot of other episodes.

I missed it, which wasn't my intention, but things slipped through my fingers Friday and I forgot all about it. However, it sounds like I didn't miss much. I tried watching the episode on FOX's website, but it was having issues and I gave up. I will probably try to watch next week's, as I missed the pilot, just to give it a shot. I was wondering how comparable it would be to shows like Alias and the Pretender, so I'm not surprised to hear you think that.

4 million I think? I didn't like it. It didn't feel like a Joss show. There was no Joss humor/wit or interesting/unique characters that I could care about. Plus, the premise of the show isn't something I'm into. I did find some aspects of it interesting - like it was humans deciding to be Actives instead of the PTB creating robots/clones to be actives. I don't think it would last either as I read FOX reshuffled the episodes (this episode wasn't suppose to the be first one to air) and we all know what happened the last time they did that to a Joss show. I will watch it to see if it picks up but only when it shows in NZ. Wouldn't search the net for it.

I completely forgot about this show, which I guess shows how interested I was in it! Poor Joss.

I watched it, but it won't be a great shame if I don't see the rest of it. I'm curious to see what the guy at the end was up to.

Yeah, I preferred the bits in the facility..the actual point of the show (The Missions) were not very interesting, I doubt it will last to long.
