I also heard that they wanted the author to split the last book into two, did you feel like it was rushed? alot going on at once?.
I guess movies must be where the money is, I just hope they don't destroy the characters personalities.

I thought the last one was the only one without much going on! But this is probably just the PTB wanting to milk the movie(s) for all it's worth.

I don't see any casting for Madge either, I know she wasn't a huge character in the book but she was incredibly important purely for the Pin which started the mockingjay!
I also read something on IMDB about the movie being able to show reactions to the Hungar games on tv, whilst they are going on. I am sure we will be seeing alot more Gale than we did in the book.

I"m sure we'll see more of Gale just so that they can play up the love triangle.
I'm glad the writer is involved in writing the screenplay though. Much can't go wrong when that happens.

I can't believe Lionsgate think they can make 4 movies from 3 books!. I have no idea where they will separate each one the last back wasn't all that and most of the action came near the end I would assume they will be extending the time from the aftermath of the Quell to the Epilogue.

The last book was my least favourite - a lot of stupid things happen which I HATE so I don't know how I'm going to handle the last book being 2 movies.

It makes no sense. The last book was lack luster, really it just had a few memorable moments. The deaths, and Peeta's weird condition.

Okay. Movie makers need to stop ripping off Harry Potter 7. All these movies do NOT need to be split into 2. Harry Potter is understandable, of course, because the last book was PACKED with essential plot points. Breaking Dawn does NOT need to be split into 2 movies because NOTHING HAPPENS!
As for the Hunger Games, it is also highly unnecessary. Nothing much happens in the last book. If you HAD to split one of the books into 2 movies, I would have chosen Catching Fire or something.

I think you will like it Beck. The writing isn't fantastic but it is a great read and very suspenseful will be interested in hearing your thoughts after you read em all.

Poor Peeta. Unfortunately it doesn't get any better for him.
One of my favourite scenes was the one with Rue, made me a wee bit teary and it started the cause for rebellion.

Mine too, Nico. I really wonder how that would translate onto screen. I hope it would be as powerful.

Well I've read the first 2 and part of the third. So far I'm not into it as much as you girls but they are an enjoyable enough read.

If you managed to read almost all 3 books within a day, I'd say you're into it!
