You had never had a meat pie? OMG how is that even possible!!!! You should try one Irene Oh I have had one when I first got here but I didn't like it. Meat pies are wrong. I don't know how people can eat them!

Some meat pies are yucky but a lot are nice. Try a different brand you might have got a bad one. I always have a meat pie at the footy lol

There are certainly gross meat pies. Most obviously ones that don't have much real meat A good pie rocks.

In Scotland the Idea of fruit in a pie in considered incredibly weird. Except for apple pie!. People always have meat pies I find it weird that over here you never see any.
Since I have been pregnant I have tried a whole bunch of things I would never have tried before so some of these pie combo's I think I will have to give a go!.

My sister used to work in a pie factory. A small family-owned business. They make the best ones I've ever had.

Meat ones Bec?? You know what is a good pie? A good steak one with bacon and topped with mashed potato. Real potato of course, not fake

They made all sorts. But they used real meat, not offal.

Who was it? I still say Banjo's is the best place for pies, even if they aren't as good as they used to be.

Meat ones Bec?? You know what is a good pie? A good steak one with bacon and topped with mashed potato. Real potato of course, not fake You mean those dodgy flaky things? they were another first for me when I came to the States, not many people use real potatoes and the only Mashed totties I can eat are real ones, the other ones taste like paste :X I love Mashed totties on pies though, don't like bacon so I would need to find a substitute !.

I love bacon and the flaked potatoes. I think I'm the only one here who does. I've had meat pies before, but always just dig the meat out of them and leave the crust. The crust just gets too soggy. Maybe I've never had a good one before..

I don't think the flakes taste like mashed potatoes but then again when I lived with my parents Mashed potatoes were always made from scratch ! I know Steven likes the flakes though he would eat anything . They make everything in pies nowadays, I have had macaroni cheese in one, the Mac n Cheese was delicious though!. I tried bacon for the first time a couple months ago because I like the smell, but the taste is to strong for me, it made me sad because it smells so good and gets nice and crispy!.

I'm not a big fan of bacon either but I don't mind eating them if it's with something else. Wouldn't eat it alone though.
I had an bacon and egg pie once but I didn't like it.

We had a chocolate and white chocolate marble cake from the Cheesecake Shop last week. SO GOOD. Very rich though, could only have small pieces
