I have been having cravings for Key Lime pie but have never made one before but I think I may have to give it a try here soon.
What kind of cake/Pie does everyone like? I recently had Cheesecake and actually liked it, never thought I would although I still think it tasted like ice cream .

You'd never had cheesecake before?! I am not a huge fan of cheesecake, but I do like it on occasion. Pie...I like pie. But I looooove cake. One of my favourite shows is Ace of Cakes. I also love cupcakes!

I love cheesecake. It's my cake of choice every year for my bday. I prefer it to any other kinds of cakes, pies, etc. Though, chocolate silk pie is delicious, too!

They now have those mini cheesecakes which are as small as ice cubes. I'm pretty sure I had to have about 5 in one go in order to get the taste of the cheesecake. There's this cheesecake shop near Palmy that is supposedly makes the best homemade cheese cakes in NZ. So true!

I like Cheesecake. We have a buffet that makes it really well. My fave pie is pumpkin pie, it has to be just right though.

, Ace of Cakes is filmed right up the road from us in the City. We drive by alot and you can see them making cakes in the window, kind of neat.
I had never had Cheesecake before in my life, I have no idea why but I am glad I talked myself into trying it!.
AngePange, I had my first slice of pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving here last year, first slice was fine but after that I felt sick!

I like it all. I hear about Key Lime so much, I want to try it... might look for a recipe. I make a nice, easy lemon cheesecake, and I like french vanilla cheesecake. Chocolate mud cake is the best. Black Forest cake, Vanilla & Raspberry, English Tea cake, banana & walnut (Nan makes the BEST)

Ah never eat pie last, your already full and then you associate feeling gross with pie, never good in my opinion.

Agreed. I had a full stomach of Rocky's pizza and tried to eat my birthday cheesecake. Not good.

I've never tried a key lime pie. I used to be a fan of Lemon Meringue Pie but I find it a bit too sweet now.

I've never tried key lime pie either. I'm not to adventurous with these kinds of things. I usually stick with the flavours that I recognise. I mean, what is exactly key lime?!

I had a Key lime pie yoplait yogurt and loved it. I hope the actual pie tastes the same!

I bought a pie maker today. The main reason being I want proper Cauli and Cheese pies, and Broccolli and Cheese pies that Tassie sells but you can't get here! What other pies do people suggest I try out? What would you make?

You know, I never heard of putting meat into pies until I came to NZ. Pies should be a dessert! So yeah, I tend to stay away from savoury pies so I can't help you there. I can give you suggestions on dessert pies though! ;D
