No comments after the permiere? I watched it last night. I read the 2nd book ages ago so throughout the episode I was trying to match this up with the book! Hard though as I couldn't remember a lot of things. Btw, Bran looks so different now! The actor certainly grown. When I first saw him, I thought it was a different actor! And Joffry needs to die in the next episode already.

Arya has grown a lot too. Joffrey doesnt die for a looooooooooong time I don't want to put up with him all season I despise him. Having all the babies killed because they were Baratheons Daenarys scenes were boring and felt pointless. The whole episode was a bit all over the place, Tyrion and Robb Stark were the only good things about it. Still, good to have it back. Season 1 started slow too.

Its always going to be hard when introducing so many new characters. especially for non book readers! I misses joffrey in episode 2 even though i hate him haha tyrion is once again bossing the show!

I hate Theon in the book but his story in ep 2 was the most interesting - well that and Arya's. Little Finger's scene was pointless. Is there a sex scene quota the show needs to reach or something?

And what is it with the character ros? She isnt in the books but gets more screentime than other characters!

Right?! Also, in the books it was implied that Cersei was behind the baby killings and not Joffrry right? Or did I get that wrong? That scene where we find out she didn't know about it until it happened bugged me. I always thought it was Cersei. Plus, I find Cercei in the show so weak. In the books, she was a lot more manipulative with the men around her but not in the show. The show makes it seem like she's another victim. Unless that's what the plan is all along. Makes us think that she's just a victim but she's actually not. Oh and the show has been renewed for season 3. Which is awesome as that means We can see Joffrey die! ;D But that also means we see Cat and Robb die.

Yeah in the books it is more implied that it was cercei that ordered the baby killings. I think they are trying ti humanise her character while making joffrey appear a monster. making bronn captain of the gold cloaks is also a new direction but one i liked.

Little Finger's scene was pointless. Is there a sex scene quota the show needs to reach or something? You've never heard of Sexposition (as opposed to plain old exposition)?? Google it and Game of Thrones. I'm sure someone has written an essay or something by now Haven't been too thrilled by Eps 1 and 2. But like Beck said, series 1 took a bit to ramp up.

Doubt we will have seen the last of the sexposition with this particular series. the bit with the rag and the "fluid" on the face followed up with a full blown kiss was gag worthy haha

Yeah, that was weird and unnecessary! With that, I'm not looking forward to the birth scene of that shadow thingy.

Episode 3 was for me, brilliant. we got to see brienne and margeary who were even better than i hoped for. even the inclusion of the strange incest 3-way didnt seem out of place on got and gave me a chuckle. cat delivered her warning quote perfectly. the tyrion 1, 2, 3 scene was brilliant and a joy to watch. also liked some of the changes to the book, mainly yorens ( who went out like a f**king champ with one of thee quotes of the season) story about his brother and giving arya the idea to do her nightly prayer. and also how they tricked the gold cloaks that lommy was infact gendry. arya showing some very quick thinking. Wabted to see pycelle piss himself though (does that make me weird). "cut of his mahood and feed it to the goats""there are no goats halfman" "then make do" brilliant!!

Great casting for Brienne I thought. I can't wait for her interaction with Jamie. Speaking of, he has been missing the last couple of eps! I love the way Tyrion said "Then make do!" Couldn't help but laugh out loud. As the episodes go on, he has been the only saving grace I think. At least with this episode, we get to see the new characters and there was plot development - with Arya and Cat. And can I just say that Renly has the best looking crown EVER! I want to wear it!
