I knew what happened because I made Shaun tell me ages ago. But I know a lot of people refuse to be spoiled and plan on reading the books only after the show is done. I wasn't shocked by the reaction at all. Though some of it is totally OTT!!

Agreed. Arya is amazing.  I'm glad she's got Needle back. I'm upset with the re-casting of Daario Naharis. He was so beautiful last season and he and Dany had great chemistry. This new guy just looks like every other character and it's going to be hard to re-build that chemistry I think. |

I got into Game of Thrones last year, watched all three seasons in one week. That was a hell of a week, let me tell you. I've been waiting patiently each week now since the show came back for its fourth season, and I got all five published books now. Currently reading the first book, kinda. When I have time. I also have the video game for the PS3 and a couple of T-Shirts.
Arya, Dany, Tyrion and Tywin are my favorite characters, but lately I've been enjoying Jon Snow, Jaime and The Hound a lot more. I also like the new guy that was introduced this season.
And I doomed them all for saying they were my favorites. Sorry, guys.

Oh Oberon you hot bastard. Well, formally hot bastard I guess... Was so on edge waiting for the fight that the rest of the episode, while excellent, was just background/filler almost. Poor Friendzone though. Felt bad for old Jorah.

Good episode with the watchers! Love the battle episode. Put me in the mood for LotR. I hear a couple people who died didn't die in the book so people are upset about that. And apparently there's a ton of shit that needs to happen in the finale next week. Can't wait! |

I thought it was a strange choice to totally ignore Kings Landing and the aftermath of the Mountain v Viper, but it was an epic ep none the less. Can see why it was massively expensive TV!!
